Wendy brings extensive and varied experience to True Learning. She has consulting experience in four countries and rural and metro Australia. Wendy has taught science and mathematics in high schools and delivered careers education programs in the tertiary sector. She has worked on many interesting projects which include website migration, career preparation for women in STEM, on-line work experience and a film archive of interviews with war veterans.
Meet some of the others in the team:
Coco
Coco is responsible for announcing people’s arrival,
keeping groups together and providing entertainment (read: showing off).
Captain
Captain is who everyone looks to for reassurance. He has been, there, done that
and can always be depended on to do what is asked.
Trojan
Smart and capable but, if not occupied, he usually gets up to mischief.
Provide him with clear direction and Trojan will give you his best.
Woody
Woody is nervous in busy environments. With reassurance and by introducing changes gradually, his confidence grows, as does that of those who work with him.
Alchemy
Al is Captain’s apprentice. At a young age, he already has a calm, sensible nature.
Doing new things in new situations is expanding his comfort zone.
Flash
Flash has been transformed from a frightened, unhandled colt into a sweet curious boy by gaining his trust and working at his pace.
Blaze
Blaze’s accepting nature makes him well suited to those wanting to teach new things to a student who is willing and forgiving.
